New regulations have now been approved by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment which will add a new class of products to the Saskatchewan Waste Electronic Equipment Program (SWEEP) on April 1, 2010.

Whether you were previously participating in the program, or are a new member, these regulations will apply to your business if you sell any of the regulated products on the following list:

Public support for expanding the number of products is strong. Our province-wide poll this spring showed over 93% indicated it was important or very important to expand the program. However, your co-operation and assistance is critical to the success of this industry-driven program.
